Wildfire Services Group’s ground-based wildfire hazard assessment called the WildfireHazard Report™, considers over 180 points of relevant data in 7 categories: ignition source, geospatial, geoscience, location, hardening, defensible space, and values at risk. The report is delivered by Certified Wildfire Mitigation Specialists (NFPA). Ground-level photographs, measurements, and other data are used to assemble the report. Standards are rooted in Cal Fire, FireWise (NFPA), and Fire Safe standards. The goal is to assess the risks, identify the hazards, and prioritize the mitigation steps.
