  • Joel Holland | President & Cofounder

    As a business leader for over 20 years, Joel’s experiences have taught him that perfection is fleeting but if you take the time to learn from the journey, there is satisfaction in the process. With experience in secondary education, luxury hospitality, project management, and operations consulting, he continues to broaden his tool kit. Joel recently completed relevant coursework and trainings in fire engineering, Wildfire Mitigation, the Wildland Fire Assessment Program, Broadcast & Pile Prescribed Burn Tactics and Strategies, Wildfire Remediation and Erosion Control, and S-130 Basic Wildland Firefighting Training.

  • Luke Bohanan | Senior Project Manager

    Luke is a seasoned fire service professional with over a decade of experience protecting Californian communities. He leads all private-sector mitigation projects, and throughout his career, he has been deeply involved in various initiatives aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness and safety in the face of California's dynamic and challenging fire environments. In recent years, he served as a key member of a specialized task force responsible for developing crucial operational safety protocols for the Santa Rosa Fire Department. In the aftermath of North Bay wildfires, Luke joined the Wildland Resiliency Strategic Plan (Operations) helping craft tactical response strategies for California’s new wildfire reality. Drawing on this extensive background, Luke brings both technical expertise and strategic foresight to every project, ensuring Wildfire Services Group delivers solutions grounded in real-world experience and tailored to today’s wildfire challenges.

  • Jason Ius | Project & Field Manager

    Jason is a results-driven Project Manager specializing in wildfire resilience, with a proven track record of overseeing mitigation projects across California, leading every phase of a project—from bidding and planning to coordinating crews, managing contractors, and executing boots-on-the-ground operations. He has successfully completed large-scale wildfire resilience projects funded through FEMA, CAL OES, and the State of California. He has experience navigating complex regulatory environments, securing contracts, and managing high-performance teams under pressure. His background as a firefighter for CAL FIRE, in the tree industry, as well as Forestry experience, combined with practical field expertise and strategic oversight ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
